What Kakadu Plum Actually Does

Kakadu plum contains more vitamin C than almost any plant on earth. This is not marketing. This is botany.

A single kakadu plum has up to 100 times more vitamin C than an orange. Australian Aboriginal people have known this for 60,000 years. Western science confirmed it in the 1990s.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant. It neutralises free radicals before they damage collagen, brightens hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanin production, and supports collagen synthesis. These are proven mechanisms. Peer-reviewed. Repeatable.

We use kakadu plum in Vayu Dew because the concentration is extraordinary and the source is native to the land we operate on. The mist delivers it in a form your skin can absorb. Aloe vera carries it past the surface. Bergamot lifts without interfering with the active compounds.

You spray it twice. You close your eyes. The vitamin C goes to work.

Most vitamin C products oxidise quickly and turn brown in the bottle. Kakadu plum is naturally stable because it contains phytochemicals that protect the ascorbic acid. This is why traditional ingredients often outperform synthetic isolates—nature already solved the stability problem.

We respect that. We formulate around it. We don't try to improve on 60,000 years of empirical knowledge.

One bottle of Vayu Dew lasts two months with daily use. Your skin gets consistent vitamin C without the irritation that often comes with lab-made ascorbic acid. Traditional use. Modern research. Both pointing in the same direction.
